Moist Banana Bread Recipe
Yay, I finally came up with the perfect banana bread recipe after many many tries. I was putting banana bread in my husband’s lunch box for 3 weeks in a row, at the end of third week he asked me if I had a banana bread factory he didn’t know about. I WISH… The idea of having my banana breads on the shelves of supermarkets around the country came to my mind. Ahhh… that would be a dream come true.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I spend quit a bit of time and effort to come up with a banana bread that is moist, low in fat and sugar, and absolutely scrumptious.  Don’t get me wrong, most of the banana breads I made were good, but this recipe is just perfect and I am very happy to share it with you!

Ingredients

9X5 Loaf Pan
3 Very Ripe Bananas
3 Eggs
1/4 Cup of Melted Butter
1/4 Cup Low Fat Plain Yogurt
1/4 Cup of Granulated Sugar
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Ground Walnuts
1 Cups of All Purpose Flour Sifted
1 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
Cooking Spray

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees and grease the loaf pan.

Moist Banana Bread Recipe 3 Using a fork roughly mash your bananas Moist Banana Bread Recipe 5 Add the eggs and mix them in with the bananas Moist Banana Bread Recipe 6 Add the yogurt, granulated sugar, melted butter, and brown sugar and mix well until incorporated. Moist Banana Bread Recipe 8 Add Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, and Salt and mix. Moist Banana Bread Recipe 11 Add the flour, then add the walnuts and mix in the batter. 14 Pour the batter in the prepared loaf pan, then bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the loaf.

  • ¼ Cup of Melted Butter
  • ¼ Cup Low Fat Plain Yogurt

  • 1 Cup of Ground Walnuts
  • 1 Cups of All Purpose Flour Sifted
  • 1½ Teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Salt
  • Cooking Spray
Directions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees
  2. Spray your loaf pan
  3. Using a fork roughly mash your bananas
  4. Add the eggs
  5. Using a spatula, mix the eggs with the bananas
  6. Add the yogurt, granulated sugar, melted butter, and brown sugar and mix well
  7. Add Vanilla Extract, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, and Salt and mix
  8. Slowly add the flour while mixing
  9. Then add the walnuts and mix in the batter
  10. Once the walnuts are incorporated, pour the batter into the loaf pan, and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the loaf
  11. Enjoy with milk, coffee, or tea
