Easy Grilled Salmon

Easy Grilled Salmon I am all about healthy, quick and delicious meals. This easy grilled salmon helps me accomplish all that. It literately takes less than 5 minutes to prep and under 15 minutes to cook. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

Salmon is a great source of omega 3, which helps prevent hearth disease, premature aging and improves children’s concentration level. For that reason, I try to feed fish to my family whenever I have a chance.

I like to spend an extra 5 minutes prepping some vegetables to grill along side with the salmon. I typically grill mushrooms (which are loaded with vitamin D), peppers (any color will do), any kind of squash, and also tomatoes. 30 minutes later, I have a delicious and super healthy dinner. Let me tell you, I always feel great after serving this salmon/vegie dinner. I know that my kids have gotten the proper nutrients, and that is priceless.

The combination of ground ginger, dried oregano and garlic is what makes this salmon delicious. I say that with a lot of confidence, because Amir loves this easy grilled salmon. If you have been reading Tajoon, you’ll know how picky Amir is. So whenever he approves of a meal, it has to be good.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:

4 slices of salmon fillets, skin-on
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
2 cloves of minced garlic

Directions:

Easy Grilled Salmon 1 Place the salmon skin side down, then season the top with salt, pepper, ground ginger and dried oregano.
Spread the minced oregano over the spices. Easy Grilled Salmon 2 Heat up your grill, then place the salmon skin side up. Cover the grill, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Easy Grilled Salmon 4 Turn the salmon around, and grill for another 5 minutes. Easy Grilled Salmon 5 Remove from the grill and serve immediately with some lemon slices and tartar sauce. Enjoy with steamed rice and vegetables, or serve on a bed of greens.

  3. Heat up your grill, then place the salmon skin side up. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes. Do not move the fillets around until you are ready to flip them.
  4. Turn the salmon around, and grill for another 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from the grill and serve immediately with some lemon slices and tartar sauce. Enjoy with steamed rice and vegetables, or serve on a bed of greens.
