Grilled Moroccan Chicken

This is an easy, yet a delicious grilled chicken recipe.  It has exotic flavors such as cumin to turmeric, which also makes it very healthy. In fact if you are on a diet, this will be a great chicken to have without having to worry about extra calories. So fire up your grill and have a healthy Moroccan Chicken.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Inactive Time: 30 minutes to 6 hours (to allow chicken to marinate)

Cook Time: 10-14 minutes

Ingredients:

1

1 lb of Chicken Tenders or Thinly Sliced Chicken Breast
1/2 Cup of Cilantro
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
2 Minced Garlic Gloves
1/2 tsp of Cumin
1/2 tsp of Ground Ginger
1/2 tsp of Turmeric
1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to Taste


Directions:

In a bowl add all the ingredients to the chicken

Mix well until the chicken is well coated with  the spices, garlic, lemon and olive oil

Cover with Foil and refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour to allow the chicken to marinate.
If you have time, you can marinate the chicken over night

Before grilling, take the chicken out of the refrigerator and leave on the counter for about 20-30 minutes to allow it to come to room temperature in order for the chicken to cook evenly

Grill your chicken for 5-7 minutes on one side

Once the chicken starts to turn white as shown on the picture

Flip it to the other side and grill for another 5-7

Serve hot with pita bread or rice
