Marbled Banana Bread

Marble Banana Bread 0

I love Banana Bread and Chocolate so I decided to make Marbled Banana Bread. Oh and was it good!

I followed the same recipe for my very moist Banana Bread Recipe but I changed it a little bit by using cocoa powder instead of walnuts and cinnamon. I also added 1/2 cup of flour. The recipe is still pretty simple and really delicious.

I hope you will get to try this recipe and enjoy it!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Marble Banana Bread 2

Add the eggs and mix them with the bananas

Marble Banana Bread 3

Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar and melted butter

Marble Banana Bread 4

Add the plain yogurt, once mixed add the vanilla extract

Marble Banana Bread 5

Slowly add the dry ingredients while mixing in into the batter

Marble Banana Bread 6

Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan

Marble Banana Bread 7

Here comes the best part, add the cocoa powder to the remaining batter

Marble Banana Bread 8

Mix it well.
Ahhh…I love chocolate, just look how beautiful this batter looks. I could eat it just like that, but I am going to be a good girl and wait till it’s baked.

Marble Banana Bread 9

Add the cocoa batter to the loaf, try to pour it in the center of the existing batter as shown on the picture

Marble Banana Bread 10

Using the back of a wooden spoon draw number 8 figure in the batter 4 to 5 times.

Don’t over do it because you will end up with chocolate banana bread, which is not bad at all, but we’re trying to get the nice marbled look, so only draw it the number 8 figure 4 to 5 times

Marble Banana Bread 11

This is what it should look like

Marble Banana Bread 12

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean

Marble Banana Bread 13

Allow it to cool before serving Marble Banana Bread 14

Enjoy it anytime of the day!
You can have it for breakfast or with your afternoon coffee or tea.
