Moroccan Date Truffles

What could be better than healthy and delicious Moroccan date truffles. These treats are easy to make and great as a snack or desert. I, of course, made them the Moroccan way by adding Orange Blossom Water and cinnamon.

Prep time: 10-15 minutes

Yields: 15 Truffles

 Ingredients:

2 Cups of Pitted Majdool Dates
3 tbsp of Cocoa Powder
1 tsp of Orange Blossom Water
1/2 tsp of Cinnamon
1 tbsp of Water
A Pinch of Salt
1 cup of Ground Walnuts
1/2 tsp of Sugar (optional)

Directions: 2 If you are using the sugar, add it the walnuts, mix in and set aside 3 To a food processor add the dates, cocoa powder, cinnamon, salt, orange blossom water and water. Pulse for a couple of minutes until the mixture sticks together and forms a paste 4 Measure a table spoon of the paste and form small balls with your hands 5 Place the truffles on parchment paper so they don’t stick 6 Roll up the truffles in the ground walnuts that you reserved Date Truffles 7 Serve immediately or store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
